PST files and Outlook archives can be searched in searchit using full-text search thanks to special parsers. When periodically indexing PST files, searchit detects whether new backups have been added or data has been changed. At the same time, metadata is collected, which enables searches by, for example, authors, creation date and modification date. Users are able to search in all Outlook archives for which they have permission via the central Enterprise Search interface: The tracking of long e-mail conversations, searches in archived calendar entries and tasks becomes clear and intuitive.
